Everything people ask at the counter.
Short answers, no hedging. If yours isn't here, call — the person who answers is the person who does the work.
Why one car at a time?
Because the failure mode of detailing is hurry. Every swirl we correct for a living was put there by someone rushing a wash. One bay, one car, one standard. It caps how many cars we can take, and it's also why the work holds up. Race shops don't prep two cars on one lift either.
What is a gloss meter, and why do you keep mentioning it?
A gloss meter measures how much light a surface reflects, in gloss units (GU). We read eight points on your paint before and after work and hand you the printout. It turns 'looks shinier' into a number, and it keeps us honest, because the meter doesn't care how confident the detailer feels.
How do I book?
Request a slot through the site: two minutes, no payment up front. We reply the same business day with an inspection time. Every job starts with your car under our lights and an exact written quote before any work begins.
Do you work on daily drivers, or just show cars?
Mostly dailies, honestly. The standard came from race-shop work; the calendar is full of commuters, family SUVs, and lease returns. Show-car process at daily-driver scope — that's the entire idea of the studio.
How far out are you booked?
Washes and interiors: usually inside two weeks. Corrections and coatings: two to four weeks. Film: three to five. Race week in October and pollen season book further out. Members skip most of the queue; priority booking is the membership's main event.
Can I wait at the studio?
For a signature wash, sure. There's decent coffee and a couch with a view of the bay. Anything longer, drop the car. We're two blocks from the East/West light-rail station, and for multi-day corrections we can quote pickup and delivery.
Do you offer mobile detailing?
No, and it's a standards call, not a convenience one. Correction and coating need controlled light, controlled temperature, filtered water, and infrared curing. A driveway offers none of those. The exceptions we make are pickup and delivery, so the car comes to the conditions instead of the other way around.
What products do you use?
Professional lines we're certified on for coatings and film, and whatever wins our own testing for everything else. The studio runs on what works under a meter, not on sponsorships. Ask about any product on your car and you'll get the actual name, the actual reason, and the data sheet if you want it.
Is my car insured while it's with you?
Yes. The studio carries garage-keepers coverage, the bay is camera-monitored, and the building is alarmed. One car at a time also means your keys are the only keys on the board.
Do you detail motorcycles, boats, or trailers?
Case by case. Motorcycles and the occasional wake boat, yes, quoted after a look. Semi trailers, no. If it has paint worth measuring, send a photo and we'll give you a straight answer.
One car at a time. Yours next.
