Who this is for
For owners who are done waxing. Daily drivers that need to shrug off Carolina pollen, and garage cars that need to stay concours-flat between shows.
A ceramic coating is only as good as the paint underneath it, which is why every coating we install starts with at least a single-stage machine polish. Coating over swirls just gives you very shiny swirls, sealed in for five years. We do not do that here.
We install accredited professional-line coatings: the kind that require certification, a controlled environment, and a warranty backed by the manufacturer, not a bottle from a parts-store shelf. The studio stays between 65 and 75 degrees, the panel gets wiped with panel prep until it squeaks, and the coating cures under infrared lamps before the car sees weather.
Before we start, we take gloss-meter readings at eight points on the car. After the polish and cure, we take them again. The average gain on a Charlotte daily driver is 25 to 35 gloss units. The printout goes in your glovebox with the warranty card.

Do I still have to wash the car after it's coated?
Yes. A coating is not a force field. It makes washing faster and safer: dirt releases with less contact, water sheets off, and pollen rinses instead of bonding. Plan on a proper wash every two to three weeks, or put it on the membership and we handle it.
Why do your coatings cost more than the $300 ones I see advertised?
The $300 install skips paint correction and uses a consumer-line bottle. Ours includes machine polishing, a certified professional coating, infrared curing, and a registered warranty. Roughly 70% of our time on a coating job is spent on the paint before the coating ever comes out.
How long until I can drive it?
We infrared-cure before release, so the car can see road the same day it leaves. Keep it out of rain for 24 hours and skip the wash for two weeks while the coating reaches full hardness.
Will it stop rock chips?
No. A ceramic coating is microns thick and protects against chemical etching, UV, and wash marring, not impact. If chips are the worry (I-77 commuters, we see you), pair the coating with paint protection film on the front end.
