Who this is for
For I-77 and I-485 commuters collecting rock chips, and for new-car owners who want the front end to still be original paint in five years. The only real defense against impact damage.
Ceramic protects against chemistry; film protects against physics. PPF is a clear urethane layer thick enough to take a gravel hit, a shopping cart kiss, or a June bug at 75 and keep the paint underneath untouched. Light scuffs in the film self-heal with heat: sun or a hot rinse.
We install computer-cut patterns matched to your exact model year, so no blade ever touches your paint. Edges are wrapped around panel lips wherever the pattern allows, which is the difference between film you find and film you don't.
Partial front covers the leading 18–24 inches of hood and fenders plus the full bumper and mirrors. Full front covers the entire hood and fenders. Track packs add rockers, A-pillars, and the roof leading edge. Every install starts with a decon and polish, because film locks in whatever is under it.
Paint Protection Film,
answered.
Will I see the film?
At two feet, no. Modern film is optically clear and we wrap edges where possible. On close inspection, you can find a wrapped edge if you know where to look. That trade buys you original paint under the film, which is the better end of the deal.
PPF or ceramic coating — which one?
Different jobs. Film stops impact: chips and scuffs. Coating stops chemistry (UV, etching, bonded dirt) and makes washing easy. The front takes hits; the whole car takes weather. Most protected builds here run film on the front, coating over everything.
How long does film last?
The film we install carries a 10-year warranty against yellowing, cracking, and delamination. Realistically, a hard-driven front end earns replacement around year 7 or 8, at which point the paint under it is still perfect. Which was the whole idea.
